| As with anything new, the dog may, at first, find the harness and brace to be awkward and uncomfortable. We suggest you distract them by taking them for a walk or tossing a toy. Before long, the dog will realize that the brace is associated with pain free fun. The harness can be left on all the time. | ||||

EDDIE HEATH, DVM, WITH SAM ALL PETS ANIMAL HOSPITAL ASHEVILLE, NC It has been a long time since something as new and innovative as the dog brace has been marketed to aid in the management of Canine Hip Dysplasia. The design provides additional support for the bones which stabilize the joint in a way that helps minimize bone and soft tissue pain. Early trials have been promising. |
